Lets see, search the internet for YD25 big end drama's, excessive smoke problems, timing chain problem's, 2012 model's constantly going into limp mode etc.

I dont deny Isuzu has had a few !@#$ up's. The 4JX1 was the biggest, however that was more so related to the Catapillar developed common rail injection system.

Oh and DPF problems on Isuzu 2 tonne trucks.

Mazda has had a few !@#$ ups, the Ford Courier had a gearbox that was good for 150,000km's on average.

A mate had a Ford Explorer that cost him $6000 to do the 4 timing chains from memory.

Toyota's 1KZTE has a tendency to crack cylinder heads. The 1KDFTE (D4D) was prone for picking up the bore. The 2LT/TE was prone for cracking cylinder heads.

Mitsubishi had EGR problem's with their 3.2L Triton and Pajero motors.

The EA-AU had a tendency to do the headgasket on number 6 cylinder as its the hottest cylinder.

Ford Transit vans, fuel pumps are rediculously expensive.

VW's. Prone for problems, search the net.

All cars are problematic, they're all money pits.

There has been SFA bad said about the 4JJ1 engine in my Dmax. Hence why I brought it.

Lets face it, has Nissan had a good run with their newer diesels ?

Nissan's attitude stinks, I am helping Dylan run this site as I will for the Dmax forum he has started.



While his appendages can be distracting, the said person you refer to has made a big and I mean big contribution to this site. While he, like others on here can dribble a bit, if you we're to look back on his old posts he has helped a lot of people, including those egr blanking plates which he has been known to supply and post out of his own pocket.

They told me to be there at 0600 for surgery.
I was the last to go in at 1230.
I woke a few hours later being greeted by a nurse and the old "Could you pee in here please"
Thirty minutes later I was out the door.

The sad thing is that it's not just the public health system. The private sector is just as bad, I spent more time waiting for my surgeon when I had my shoulder done than I did in surgery. I'd drive 2 hours to get to an appointment, show up half an hour early because it's the reasonable thing to do and I'd still have to wait up to two hours to see the guy.

The Eye and Ear hospital in Melbourne is one of the worst. Turn up for a 12:30 app and because they are still trying to get rid of the morning appointments you have to line up at the door until the receptionists will acknowledge your arrival. They then send you to one waiting room where you wait up to an hour for the lacky to do the basic tests. Once that is done they send you to the other waiting room to see the specialist who will keep you waiting another hour. Then they ask you to come back 3 times a week for 6 weeks and repeat the same shit. Our record was getting a 1pm appointment and finally getting out at 6:15pm. After that we learnt how to use (abuse) the system which meant we got seen by the first specalist available and only paid for 1 hours parking. But that doesn't change the fact that the system is fcuked!
