considering your other problems with the key fob not working, i suspect you have an aftermarket alarm system or central locking system.
need to find the make/model number of the unit which will most likely be hidden under the dash somewhere.

cheers tweak’e, I ended up getting a new battery put in the key but you are right it’s definitely an aftermarket alarm system/central locking, the hazards only come on for roughly 10 or so seconds when ya open the door,
It looks like the bloke before me has done his own wiring or something because there is sub under the passenger seat and an amp under the driver seat and another sub behind the backseat, it’s missing a numberplate light and the wiring for one lol and there is rock climbing lights under the hubs with the wire still bundled up as if there new,
I was thinking maybe he crossed a wire or there’s a wire failing somewhere
But I’ll have a sus and see if I can find the make or model of system
