I ended up figuring out how to edit the pdf so i was able to add my details, Will the form I emailed be ok or would you like me to send one via snail mail also?

I'll leave that up to Tony as he's the poor bugger who's collating all this stuff.

Just want to see what people think of this.

Advertising.

I'm thinking of contact a few companies and seeing if they'd like to send us flyers to go in the showbags. A showbag is a pretty weak when it contains 50% of the bag itself, but if we fill it up with useful stuff, it can be perceived as a more useful thing to get.

As an example, I was looking for cabin pollen filters for my Thai KC, not the easiest things to find. I found Sydney Filters has them along with most other Thai KC filters. I'm sure other people would find that sort of thing useful as well.

Only problem we may have is that we end up providing info from competing comapnies, EG: ARB and TJM etc etc.

What do you guys think???

We could ask Zordo if he wants to get involved or even come along.

I don't care about competing companies. If they want to be noticed they'll put something in. If they want to be noticed MORE than the other guys we tell them are already pitching in then they'll pop something more special than their competition.

It looks ok except for two things:

1) You didn't indicate which model Navara you drive

2) That is NOT how you spell 'vagina' in Cantonese.

And would it be ok Tony if you put me down for driving a D40?
as my D22 is with the fishes and i dont want to attempt to evict the one with the big teeth in order to take it to the muster :confused3:

maybe that would be a little disappointing to the sponsors, could we just add some of their info, like ARB's magazine ect.

I know this is a little removed from navara's, but What about companies like Coca-cola, redbull ect would they be up for throwing a few cases of cans our way with some stickers maybe??,
It seems like at allot of the car shows or even our country shows there always someone giving out free samples of bottled water or flavoured milks, packets of chips , i know my kids love getting those things even if the bag has a ruler with some companies logo on them they are all fillers.
just a thought.

Added Westprint into the list of sponsors on the web site. If you haven't looked at their maps I highly recommend you do, they're great.

i asked lindsay this in his post

hey lindsey

its only up the road from you
bring a few chips for us too look at
ime happy for you to use my car as a test car for before and after

Was Northside 4x4, wrote an excellent reference for diesel power chips. Now signs in as "DieselTuner" and works at an exhaust shop in Caboolture.

He has every appearance of being a genuine guy - much moreso than ChipIt, but none of us know the whole story. Ian's invitation will at least show us what colours Lindsay truly wears.

well he has replied and looks good for "TESTING" some chips, now to convince him to maybe throw in a few bits for a raffle or prizes, eg who has travelled the furthest ect.
He says he will have hard pipes for the d40 intercooler soon maybe a set of those??
