It's my recollection that anyone 4WDing had to pay a few to the park (separate to the Muster fee).

I'll go over the figures and get back to ya'll. Other than that, it looks good.

Any idea on how i can fill in the form on a macbook to register for the muster? It doesnt seem to want to let me fill it in once i save it

Tony do you know what happened here with this notice that Dylan put up, it was there one minute then it was gone.
I thought it was a good idea, and not because it was the same as i have in my signature either lol
it would be good to have a permanent sticky at the top of the new posts page ect

It's a PDF Nathan, you have to print it out out, fill it in and post it to the address on the form.

G'day Ian,

Regarding an itinerary, I don't think we've arranged anything.

It's hard to arrange drives as some people will want to go on drive A at 11am, others will want to go at 10am but do drive B, others will want to only do half of drive C and leave at 1:30.

Maybe the only events we could arrange are the gymkahna events.

Maybe run one on Friday night, one on Saturday and another on Saturday night.

At the last Muster we sort of arranged things on the spur of the moment and that seemed to work pretty well.

Oh ok mate i just saw this on the bottom of the form

Please fill in and complete all sections of this form, and email to [email protected]. Please email confirmation that the Muster fees have been paid to the same email address."

and thought i must be able to download it then fill it in and email it back.

It also says this

"If posting in payment & forms,please post to ----- ------ ----"

I think the "IF" part of the above also put me off.

Yep I need to clear that up a bit, I'll look at it this week.

No probs mate, i just thought it was due to me crap with the computers and couldnt make it work. lol

I will post mine off this week, but i am curious as to how others have have managed to email theirs? or are they just indicating they have downloaded the form?

Glad you asked Nathan, I took a read over the page, it was as clear as mud. I reworded it now and it should be much clearer for people to work out what to do.

hi guys
i noticed a bit of chatter on muster post bout zordo
it got me thinking
a lot of members have bought stuff from him
i wonder if he would cough up a set of shocks for the muster??

thats a good idea mate, he has got allot of work out of the forum. Prob well deserved due to doing a good job and providing good customer service as all reports seem to confirm, BUT the forum has provided customers for him all the same.

Sorry guys been working a lot - 50 hours work in 3 days. I'm knackered!

We had people mail them to us in the past because we were using Word docs.

I've no idea of the times. I think for the big trip on Saturday (Condamine Gorge) we should define a reasonable start time - given that we'll have to do the welcome stuff at 9am, we should start that trip at 10am - and work around that (since that's the BIG trip). Luke might be able to give us an idea of duration, then add another hour for stops, photos etc.

We've started receiving applications (email). Maybe once we receive a few we'll get some idea of how many might be hitting the gymkhana tracks so we can get some idea of how many vehicles going into it and therefore how much time it will take.

I think we'll wing some of it. I'm sure that during the welcome address we'll get a few people G'd up to go in the gymkhana, especially once they see the place and think "hey I could give that a go" and one of you guys talk about it.

Sounds good to me Tony.
Now just to show my lack of intelligence once more, How are people managing to email the forms through? and is this possible for me to do on the mac?
i can download it and print it out, but i cant seem to do anything else with it.

They used to be in word doc format. PDF is readable by more platforms. Looks like the rego we have (I saw 6 emails and thought we had a few - 5 were about other stuff) is someone who has a PDF editor.

I think i figured it out...... :hmmmm2:
Well at-least i hope so, i emailed a copy.
Let me know if it shows up please guys.
regards,
Nath

Nath, the document has been saved in PDF format which allows it be read on Windows, Mac, Linux etc, it should appear the same, visually, to everyone.

The idea is so that everyone has the same form. They download then print the form out, fill it in by hand and mail the form back to the address on the form.

I could have created a web form so it could be filled in online, no printing etc, but that would cost money and too much time and I'm too bloody lazy to do all that.

PDF documents can be edited (changed and added to etc), but you need a PDF editor, of which there are many. But most people don't have these, so the form needs to be printed.

You can edit the form online using online PDF editors like PDFEscape (http://www.pdfescape.com/) for example, but I reckon, it's easier to just print it out, grab a crayon and start colouring.

And it's not a lack of intelligence mate, you just know other stuff that's all.

I ended up figuring out how to edit the pdf so i was able to add my details, Will the form I emailed be ok or would you like me to send one via snail mail also?
