Yes mate i should be able too, BUT if you could knock up a few arrows that would be good .
that way we can just use some thick black texter on the coreflute to write what ever else we need to suit the course.

no worries
5 left
5 right
5 up
will that do?

I've still got the direction signs for the 2011 Muster in my garage. Ian, if you're going to be there really early, maybe you could get them put into appropriate places? I'll sort out locations for them using Google maps.

there is one bugger of a corner at a 5-Ways intersection at Allora-Goomburra Rd and Inverramsay Rd

The rest of the trip is pretty easy to make

And narrow roads there too.

I think that intersection could use a couple of signs. My guess is most people will come up from the south to that intersection (Cunningham Hwy/New England Hwy). Will get some coming in through Allora approaching that intersection from the west, so an 'up' arrow and a 'right' arrow needed, then one sign 300m before the entry, one at the entry ... yeah got that already, and the signs I'd made up for 2011 were easy to see.

sounds good tony

have we officially announced that some "funkhana" style events will be run at the muster yet?

Hey guys

I am off on my honeymoon in Canada for the next 3 weeks (back round 15 July). Please keep discussions about the Muster going on the forum threads. Tony will post up some pics of the prizes every now and then. Feel free to talk up the Gymkhana stuff as well.

Matt has one more lead for some mapping products, and if that comes off, post that info up too!

Lastly, we need to get the Rego forms out and about. Its up on the muster website. Please keep up the chat. Other than that - loving everyones work! Have a good one and enjoy reading nothing but news about Rudd and Gillard for the next 3 weeks (Dam I hope thats all over by the time I get back)

Cheers lads!

Have a great trip away with the mrs hope you get no sleep.

so are we all good to announce say two events and give people a rough out line of who can enter and what they should expect??

what do you guys think about me putting something like this up in the muster thread??.

let me know what you think and if i should take stuff out or add stuff.

I was thinking i would add this under the pics of the prizes.

These few events will be a good laugh guys, and they will be easy enough not to intimidate the wife's or even the your sons or daughters (as long as they have at least there P plates) from having a go.

Here are some rules

both events will have a set time to do the course in, "a mean time" each driver will try and get as close to that "mean" time as possible,
For every second you are above that "mean" time you will get 1 penalty point
For every second you are under that "mean" time you will get 2 penalty points
you can also be given further penalty points for
* leaving the set course,
* knocking down barrier tape,
* stopping where not permitted
and there will be others set for each individual course, But you will be advised of them prior to each course.

The events are loosely based off of the Nissan patrol clubs "Son Of Trials" events held in Mittagong twice a year.
The main Idea of these style of events is to keep it FUN, no one wants anyone to damage there vehicles so the events are to test you! NOT your car, and to have a FUN FRIENDLY bit of rivalry amongst our selfs and even between MR and MRS, (my bloody mrs beat me last year at the Son Of Trials but i was driving her stinking Hilux excuses excuses :cray:)

Everyone can enter and it will be included in your fee for the MUSTER.

looking forward to seeing everyone have a crack and have some fun, as a Navi will be needed for at-least one of the events it will also allow our kids and wife's to participate in a fun event.

if you are travelling solo dont worry you will no doubt be able to find someone to jump in with you for the few minutes it takes to do the course.

ARE WE THERE YET!!
