hey mark,

i know how the i was talking with the plate id like would require more work, i have no problem in paying extra for more work involved

Ok all...

Ill count the numbers and start working it out as it seems there are a few keen. I have not started the sliders yet so no pics, i had trouble getting the tube but now i have found a new supplier and the tube will be here tomorrow, so by the end of the week i should have some pics hopefully.

cheers mark.

I will probably be interested in a pair as well.

Does the ZD30 Navara also have these brake lines on the inside of the passenger side chassis rail? Just under the rear door.

I dont think mine has them, I was running some wire inside of the rail the other day and dont remember seing it at all, but mine is just the DX with drum rears so not sure if that makes any differance.

nope... must be a 2.5 thing. passenger side chassis has nothing at all attached to it.

Hmmm.....weird.

Mine has drums so nothing new there, must have run them a different way on the ZD30's? What year is yours woz?

mine doesn't have brake lines there.
but where that photo is there is something totally different on my car.
you guys should check under yours to make sure you dont have the same thing as mine.

someone snuck a big gas tank in there. sneaky sneaky

Any more news Mark? Still keen

Sorry people.

My tube did not turn up so i reordered it elsewhere, it finally came friday and is sitting in my shed, will start monday 100%. i have a new laptop now also ,so i can put pics up now. Was looking at it the other day and i doubt the ally plate on top will work unless you want the sliders level like the originals, i was going to put a 15 to 20 degree slope on them. what are your thoughts. Being made from tube and the end caps/ flare spacers/ black plastic bits will not fit i think they would stick out like dog balls..

cheers mark.

I made mine on an angle like you said, I am no expert but I reckon it has got to help 'slide' over things. It gives the imression of more ground clearance too. The only negative I have come across is people saying 'ah I see you have bent them already' :hmmmm:

I bought 90 degree elbows and made a long loop so to speak, that solved the tube end issues.

Hi matt.
I understand you but i either didnt explain it right or you missed how i wrote it. i bend the outer (where you used 90deg bends and straight) in one part of tube..

The tube end issue i was talking about is the if they are made leval (not angled up) there will be a horrid gap between the slider and the flare as the black plastic endcaps/ spacers will not go back on.. the tube will still be there in one continuous peice..

cheers mark.

My idea?

These pics below are the kind of thing I was after with the top plate on a slight angle upwards, is this roughly what people are after?
