John really backs his product and has a really good reputation. I have the older style 3sds and I'm seriously happy with them. You should be super surprised at what yours can do. I'm guessing you got the PrimeXP shocks etc?

I was going to get bilstein shocks, but after they told me their's were fully rebuildable to and proven in the mines and they hadn't broke em, i decided to get the full package off them.

Ah sweet thanks. What bran torsion bars did they end up giving you? Be interesting to see what they charge just for the torsion bars.

Don't know what brand but by the invoice they were $410.00 - 17% discount $340.00. Part no NISSO25. Hope they are better than standard ones, i told him i've got twin batteries and a steel bar and are getting a winch for fathers day that also has to go on. Hope thats not a standard nissan part no, they just emailed the invoice to me today.

That's pretty good price. That part number is an Ironman Suspension Item. They also use Ironman Greaseable shackles and pins. They are probably the best pins and shackles.

Think i read on here somewhere that all torsion bars come out of the same factory don't they.Just painted a different colour for different brands, not sure how true that is.

Ironman and Dobinson TB's are exactly the same - just sold from different companies

Not a super update, but the car is getting some more work done to it in the coming weeks. Firstly some tidy up under the bonnet with a fuse block to remove some of the excess terminals from the battery terminal. Plus the big LOCKER is going in. This will be an Eaton E-Locker up front leaving the rear LSD alone. My local Opposite Lock will be installing once I have sold my other car.

You havent found a fuse block by any chance that you can run one big power wire to then feed off seperate little 4mm wire of the other side

Yeh mate Baintech do a 6 and 12 way block and if you google fuse block with common positive. Common positive means you have a larger positive feed in and you can fuse small stuff off it. I have a baintech and a cheap 4 way unit which I am having 4x4mm worse coming off a 6mm wire which are soldered together.

A Small update for the rig. Like any of us that have the famous Ironman Bashplates i got sick of removing them to do oil changes etc. My mechanic had to ervice it one time and i forgot to remove the plates, he rang me later on saying how much of a b**** they were to get back on. So i bit the bullet and finally did something on my RDO on Friday.

64mm hole under the sump plug. also a plate for me to be able to bolt back on through captives.
