that all sounds good sparra,
we will just need to clarify that stopping will be penalised if outside of the "permitted zones" such as "placing golf balls/ cans on conduit" and in the "multi turn zones"
other then that it all looks pretty clear to me, BUT it would be good to hear what others say that have not done anything like this in the past.
4 multi point turn signs done
here is a draft of rules
ideas and comments please
rules and scoring
the aim is to complete the set course in a set time
each course will have a different set time and will be advised at start line
its very handy to have a navigator with a stopwatch so you can keep an eye on your time
on some courses you will have extra challenges like placing golf ball on conduit, will be explained at start line
at the finish line you will be required to knock the golf ball off conduit, this will be when the stopwatch is stopped
the only area reverse and complete stops will be allowed is a multi point turn area and golf ball challenge area
you are only permitted to come to a complete stop in multi point and golf ball areas signage will be displayed
there will be minimal marshalls on course so your honesty is appreciated
the points system is set out below
1; for every second you are EARLY across finish line = 2 points
2; for every second you are LATE across finish line = 1 point
3;stopping ANYWHERE on course exept for multi turn and golf ball challenge = 5 points
4;hitting bunting or going off course = 5 points
5; reversing anywhere exept multi turn = 5 points
all timing will be rounded up or down to the nearest second
the winner will be the person with the lowest score across all courses
mean times are set with steady driving and vehicle safety in mind, theres no need to flog your vehicle around course BUT dont take too much time ?

where are we at with conduit and star pickets(maybee janowen has star pickets we can use, tony??)
25mm conduit? yes? can do a mix of white and orange, does that matter?
Just had some douche on the facebook add complaining why it costs $70 to attend the muster & then pay for the tracks.
Told him it was for insurance and camping fees. People are idiots, not like we charge it just for the fun of it.
Tough trucks is $120 per person

will comitee be handing out welcome packs??
we could add these rules to welcome packs so everyone gets one?
if so i will make up and print out 30 copies?
I'm not as good looking as Tony, but yep, the instructions could be slipped in the showbags, it'd be perfect.
