Sounds like the recovery is progressing really well mate, will be great to see you at there

Now look at what you've done!! the night mares oh the terror!!!!
I did but i was trying to block it out, i dont want any sort of mental picture of any thing to do with Sparra's hole....,:puke:

Great to hear Sparra.
There's no camp kitchen, so don't have to worry about any toad in the holes

The suspension in the skyline would be stiffer then the Nav? seats probably better though.

Did we decide on what prizes would be set for what event? raffle, lucky door (if there is one this year) and Gymkharna.

Its ok guys
Dont panic
I fitted a kitchen to the camper
Its stainless and easy to clean
There was one witness to the hole in one but she aint talking(still catchin her breath)
Think happy thoughts nath, youle be ok:cheers:

Redarc

Some good news.

Redarc are jumping in and supplying a BCDC1240 in car charger to be raffled off. It's valued at $700+ RRP.

Now that's a bloody nice raffle prize.

Plus odds 'n ends to go into the showbags.

how good is that!! well done mate, sign me up for some tickets

Yep no probs. Tix are $5 each, but for you there's a discount. 4 for $20 or 6 for $30. Luke's giving a better discount. He's selling 5 for $20 (I don't think he's too good at maths ;-) )

i just finished printing and laminating signs for the gymkharna
i have
20 green arrows(5 of each)
4 finish line signs
what else will we need in signage?
nathan,brad
can we word a document explaining the basic idea ,rules and scoring for the event
i can then print and laminate a few copies for start lines
we will also need some sort of score sheet
any ideas

Nice work mate,
Do you think we should have some compulsory "multi point turn" zones in any of the courses ??

Maybe we should be calling it the "Navkhana" instead of the Gymkhana??

Sparra that should be heaps mate,

4 multi point turn signs done
here is a draft of rules
ideas and comments please

rules and scoring
the aim is to complete the set course in a set time
each course will have a different set time and will be advised at start line
its very handy to have a navigator with a stopwatch so you can keep an eye on your time
on some courses you will have extra challenges like placing golf ball on conduit, will be explained at start line
at the finish line you will be required to knock the golf ball off conduit, this will be when the stopwatch is stopped
the only area reverse and complete stops will be allowed is a multi point turn area and golf ball challenge area
you are only permitted to come to a complete stop in multi point and golf ball areas signage will be displayed
there will be minimal marshalls on course so your honesty is appreciated
the points system is set out below
1; for every second you are EARLY across finish line = 2 points
2; for every second you are LATE across finish line = 1 point
3;stopping ANYWHERE on course exept for multi turn and golf ball challenge = 5 points
4;hitting bunting or going off course = 5 points
5; reversing anywhere exept multi turn = 5 points
all timing will be rounded up or down to the nearest second

the winner will be the person with the lowest score across all courses
mean times are set with steady driving and vehicle safety in mind, theres no need to flog your vehicle around course BUT dont take too much time ?

that all sounds good sparra,
we will just need to clarify that stopping will be penalised if outside of the "permitted zones" such as "placing golf balls/ cans on conduit" and in the "multi turn zones"
other then that it all looks pretty clear to me, BUT it would be good to hear what others say that have not done anything like this in the past.
