We don't HAVE to be out on Sunday, but giving people - especially those who travel from Sydney or further south - time to get home means they don't have to take Monday off as well. Still, we can offer extra coordinated events on the Sunday and leave it up to them.

I put the Saturday Gymkhana at 4pm to allow time for everyone to get back from the Condamine Gorge run or lunch. If it takes 3 hours (9am-12noon) to get to a destination for lunch (1hr) it should take 3 hours to return (1pm-4pm).

If Condamine is out, things could be done differently. 9am-1pm drive through the nearby forest trails (outside Janowen negating the 4WD fee) then return to camp to have lunch (1pm) then watch the Gymkhana @ 2pm.

On a side note, being a little selfish. Guys turning up on Thursday to set up the muster, if we get a chance are we aloud to hit the tracks (paying fees obviously).

Sure. In fact, it would be a good idea for at least one or two of us to see what's there. At the very least we'd be able to tell everyone the highlights to sweeten the desire to drive, or better still be able to lead those less experienced up and know what to expect.

we will also need to scout the Gymkhana locations so a drive around will definitely be needed.

Personally we should be arriving around 10:30am. We're spending the night at that rest area just north of Glen Innes and hopefully hitting the road around 7am. Google estimates this at 241km, 2hrs 59mins - I don't travel at the speed limit, as some of you know!

Tonys nickname on our outings is
Rollscanhardly
But as brad mentioned we still love him

I'll be exploring.... It's a once only fee of $25 for the 4wd bit but it lasts up to 8 days, from their website

I reckon I might be sightseeing everyday. It's a long way to go to play in the mud ;-)

Just remembered the other week, my current work contract expires 17 October, I hope I don't need to be around to renew it, I hope I can do it beforehand, otherwise I may not be turning up.

hey Matt - I"ve been out of work for 6 months..... if a job lands on my lap between now and the Muster I know which I'd be giving preference too

Sounds like your recovery is going really well Sparra, will be a bloody good effort if you make it to the muster, Then we can have you running around drilling holes for the conduit and hammering in pegs for the Gymkhana events while i sit back having some cans!! just jokes dude.
will be good to have you there to give your thoughts on course location ect.

Good to hear you're recovering well, mate.

So you're gonna come to the muster now? Awesome, just make sure you don't push yourself too hard.

We're stopping about 9km north of Glen Innes. There's a roadside rest area that's about 100m off the highway. We should be getting away next morning around 7am or so - earlier if we can manage. If you stayed in a motel @ Glen Innes you'd easily catch us.

If you came WITH us with your camper trailer, I'd happily set it up for you, and pack it away in the morning if that helped you out.
