Na its all bought stuff, just had to put it together.

Thats an awesome looking engine. One goes like a mad cat, id love to see 12 running

Finally an update, all the blinker and brake lights holes are cut, head board and main tray floor is done. Just have to touch up some of the welds and should hopefully be off to get painted next week.

A few welding shots

Nice work Boosted. I'm looking at a 3l transplant for my V6 D22. It doesn't like extended periods with the bonnet under water:-(
Give Ben a call from Queensland Patrols, he can source heaps of Nav gear and Anthony from Laceys TJM. He sorted me out with an awesome Winch Bar.
Can't wait to the Nav about town, mine's pretty easy to spot on 33s.

Thanks HTFU

Are you in Gladstone? Im itchin to go for a run in the state forest, its been a while since it has been drivin.

Going from a V6 back to the 3l will be a different feeling

Yeah mate, I'm real interested in looking at your tray as well. Sick of denting the corners of mine when I get a bit courageous. The V6 has a tone of grunt but not happy in the water. Motor conversion is last on the list of mods. 1st is Lockers for the front, then body lift nd sliders. I'm heading out to Raglan for the winch challenge this weekend but I have a couple of mates who are also in the Gladstone 4WD Club who are keen to flex it up most weekends. 0428788911

what's the status of the pain job? i'm super keen to see what she looks like all painted up. keep us informed when you make up your sliders, i'm probably going to be in teh market soon for some.

HTFU - Yeah thats most of the reason I changed the tray. I have already put a big dint in the back from the bumper hitting it. Ill hopefully have my lokka by the end of the month so i'll definently be up for some fun in the state forest. My number is 0401308674

joshman - Be patient, good things take time. Once I have finished with the tray i'll probably start looking at doing them.

Well some more good news has just come about. I bought my wife a good pair of sunglasses for Valentines Day. She was so happy with them she turned to me and said "Seeing you bought me these, you can buy something for your car from me". 10 minutes later an email was sent to Calmini America and on order are a set of 3" upper control arms :dancing::elefant::crazy_pilot:
