745mm on the paasenger side and 760mm on the drivers side. Its on uneven ground though so thats why there different.

Dave.

damn that shits me off, 750mm here so i'm spot on. Theres no excuse then, well except all 3 places that i've got an alignment done are useless. I am gonna need new tyres in a couple of months and don't want them worn irregular. One thing do you have heaps of roundabouts down there? One guy here blames that but its not as if i drive the nav like a sportscar.

I won't hijack your thread any more...Thanks Dave

Na its cool mate. I do mostly night driving so usually use both lanes of the round about as I mostly see B doubles on the road at that time a night and they do the same thing.

Ill get Brad to give me a print out, since Brad has given my Nav wheel alignments the left front tyre is wearing at the same rate as the rest of my tyres.

His sister has a D22 aswell so he took the time to get it right.

Time to duck into Pirteck, catch can hoses are getting abit average and the MAP sensor I will change for good measure.

Dave.

Gday Dave, how do you find those HID headlights to drive in while its raining (at night obviously!)? I heard they they arent as good as the std low beams?

What colour did you install, 6000k 8000k etc?

There not to bad but yeah in the rain the halogens are better I reckon, I do night driving everyday.

But overall I am very happy with them, I have the 6000k's Phillips kit. Not cheap but haven't let me down.

Picked up some new hoses today, went to Pirteck.

Awesome customer service, 2 thumbs up.

Dave.

Cheers mate! I dont do a lot of driving at night (especially when wet) so it shouldnt worry me too much.

One more q, do you know the dimensions of your intercooler? I have a mate who can fabricate the plumbing, just need to buy a front mount intercooler that will fit!! cheers

EDIT,

nevermind the ic specs mate, found them on the website = 280x300x75

Well not the update I was planning on, accidently snapped the fitting off the MAP sensor earlier but most other things done.

So Gotta give Gary a yell and order one, beep.

Dave.

Well changed some hoses over that I wan't happy with. Abit overkill but there rated for 500psi.

Replaced my MAP sensor, picked up one from the wreckers, $55 but ordered a new one off Nizzbits.

Boost gauge is hooked up but haven't taken it for a drive yet to see how much boost she is pushing, the gauge goes to 30psi so its not gonna go over that. Well I bloody hope not.

Nothing on my Navara mechanical wise has let me down, the only things to cause me drama are things that have been added.

Dave.

Just to add, I got the part number for the MAP sensor if Garry (Nizzbits) to see if any dealer local had one and they couldn't even find it.

So I gave them Garrys part number and they found it. Retards, anyway the local dealer parts section has moved to Hexham (20km's away from my place), WTF yeah thats handy. Idiots.

Garry wanna move up this way, the parts guys here are idiots.

Dave.

Cheers mate.

Best vehicle I have ever owned, I hit a log on the weekend which pushed the tailshaft cover which is on the back the transfer onto the tailshaft.

Bent it back with a screw driver yesterday and all sweet now.

Did it sing like a tuning fork or what?

I thought it was a rock caught in the rear right drum, I thought stuff it I will clean the drum out when I got home.

But when I got home I thought hmmmmm someone else has mentioned it before and I did hit that log.

So easy fix.

Dave.

YD25DDTI snorkel and skirt duct ready to go on soon.

Went to do it last saturday but ran out of time.

Mothy has first dibs on the ZD30DDT snorkel.

Dave.

Snorkel is getting changed in about 30 mins.

After changing over 10 GPO's and a few light switches and fittings my brother is installing the new snorkel.

Ill post up the differences later.

Dave.
