Hello fellow Navara fans.

I have a European D22, sold here as an NP300 as seems like Navara changed over to D40 around 2005.

Its a 2008 model, engine is YD25DDTi
and VIN - JN1BPUD22U0150744

Where is actually my car Manufactured? and is this the common rail engine?
Can this be the Detuned D40 engine? as appears they have quite favorable injection system.
mine is rated at 98KW or 133 hp.

I've had it for many years now and planning to keep this around for a long time. its a fantastic pickup and mine is in great condition mechanical wise, but I want to add some more power.
I'm considering ECU from ECU-SHOP, but no idea what I actually need yet, any experience with them or other options for tuning these engines?

Would love to install a more efficient turbo, but that would be wasted if I don't figure out the diesel supply side first.

Thanks for any input.

Best regards
Chris

2008 would be the first of the common rail injected d22's. basically a detuned d40 yd25 with a wastegated turbo instead of variable.
you should be able to find a chip, ecu flash etc. however fuel is bad for the engine if you don't have enough air.
i highly recommend a decent intercooler upgrade. the factory ones tend to leak. also upgrade to a variable turbo.
