Hi guys
I am Nicolas from martinique ( french West Indies)
i own a 2013 navara v6 (231hp) with 110000 km
regulary maintained by the only nissan dealer and service on my island since 0 km
i found this thread yesterday and i can find similar items to my story
10 weeks ago i had the full service : oil , filters etc
8 weeks ago and after 700 km i starter my car in the morning with out trouble and 1 minutes and 200 meter after the engine shut down and after several attemps to start the engine, i réalise that i had to call a tow truc to bring the car to the nissan local service.
After a few days the diagnostic was donne the fuel circuit was defuse and after re-primed the engine start, but some Times shut down , they re-primed etc …..
They change the fuel filters, the fuel lever sensor and they are supposed to have check all the fuel hoses but still no change some time the engine start and sometimes need re-primed to start but sometimes no success even with re-primed
When the engine Start everything is ok , no light on dash, no troubles codes on computer , perfecttly running but some Times shut down.
They have made a comparison with another running v6 and the only différence the could notice was on the common rail pressure after a normal shut down, 7 bar on mine and 25 on the other.
Last week they propose me to change the Fuel injection pump , common rail and the 6 injectors for more that 11500€ !!!!!!
No way on a 9 years old car so i have décide to take my car far away from this company and after a hard start without re-primed the engine was able to run more that 30 minutes in traffic jams and highway with all his power and no anormal shut down .
What is wrong on my car ?
