what sparra said, pretty sure its just two in parallel since they send these things out to all corners of the globe which include places where its like -30c so hence the two cranking batteries.

Well turns out they did install a proper dual battery there is a Bosch battery and redarc isolator in there so he didn't do the dodgy, thanks for all your replys guys.
