Hi everyone, this is a subject I'm revisiting from a while back, the brake pedal on my 2008 Navara is soft, I have replaced the master cylinder twice and installed new brake lines, bled the system over and over and still the pedal is soft.
It always passes the road test here in NZ for the brakes but there is something not right. I did see one post on here where the fella said he had a similar problem and it turned out to be the brake servo/booster? But I can't see it.
Has anyone got any ideas?

do a quick double tap of the brakes and see if it comes up better.

the most common reason i usually see is rear brake drums being worn, or the auto adjusters being worn and consequently the shoes not being adjusted. that means to much travel for the shoes and that shows up in soft feeling brake pedal.
