Well I wasn't going to tell everyone you had a lap boy who does all your reading for you, you might have got embarrassed.

Not exactly sure what a lap boy is, but if it's along the same line as "sit on my lap and we'll see what pops up", then a lap boy is better than lap dog!!
At least it's keeping it in same breed.

Lap boy might be the male equivalent of a hand maiden only the different genders require different techniques.

If I was more of a man I'd go for the hand maiden and have ladies in waiting. But these days I think just the hand maiden would suffice, or maybe even just a dog that brought me my slippers.
