Hello Scott, did quickly check my NP300 procedure and it is the same except you select NP300. I started with ignition off and hazard switch on and was instructed to turn ignition switch on at a latter point. I also stopped prior to erasing all fobs as I have lent the car and do not want to have any issues if erase/burn fails. This is a bit like a good book with the last page torn out.
Hopefully will proceed in a week or two.
Thanks Scott for direction as I was going into wrong menu
picture shows where I got to.
Well I'm pleased my little screenshot video was helpful and got you heading in the right direction.
Report back to this thread once you've done the keys as it's handy information. We know the AP200 does the D40 (Thai built) and hopefully you'll find the same with the NP300.
For interest after I did the keys I bought the ECU from a twin cab and swapped it. The reason I did that was for the power upgrade. The single cab is de-rated to 106Kw compared to the king and dual cabs at 126kw. Everything's the same other than the program in the ECU.
As soon as you change one of the four items ... ECU, BCM, Key or IMMO (a little module on the ignition barrel that reads the key) then the security light flashes and the vehicle won't start. It will crank but that's all.
So I swapped the ECU then fingers crossed plugged in the AP200 and went through the steps of "After replacing or installing operation" which is the sub menu (0.43 on my video) you access if you're swapping the ECU, BCM or IMMO. The process is the same in that the keys are erased then you program them one after the other and the 4 items ... key, ECU, BCM and IMMO are coded together to create a new "security set".
I had visions of a tilt tray truck taking my vehicle to the dealer to get it sorted out after my driveway DIY coding operation.
You can imagine my relief when I'd completed the coding
I turned the key and it started first go!
Then later I used the injector coding feature as my injector codes had to replace the dual cab codes.
