Problem going into Limp Mode when driving a Mexican 2018 diesel in the USA

Problem going into Limp Mode when driving a Mexican 2018 NP300 with the YD25 diesel engine in the USA using ultra-low sulfur diesel. My truck goes into Limp Mode and now I find the only way to stop it is to change the fuel filter. No issues when burning Mexican Diesel in it. Are there any options for a higher sulfur in the USA as I need to drive back through the USA soon.

is the fuel filter getting dirty? i would reset the fuel data.
can you pull up any error codes ?

no idea on what fuel usa has. i highly doubt they would have high sulfur diesel for regular vehicles. tho farm fuel supplies could be different.
