Hello all.... I live on the Sunshine Coast and own a 88 Navara 4x4 and have owned two of these over the last 14 years and both have been great vehicles but unfortunately I have to post a request for a few tips on removing the cylinder head ( Petrol motor) as I have no compression in number 2 cylinder and suspect I have done a valve..!! Somehow I missed all the warnings on using E10 fuel in older vehicles..!! So any of you out there that have pulled the head I would appreciate hearing from if you hit any unforeseen snags or just have any tips to make the job a bit easier. Many thanks and cheers, Sideshow Bob

Hi Bob, welcome to the forums. I'm not much help on removing the head, only ever done a Ford Econovan :p

you will need a mate to help especially when you take the timing chain off the cam. From personal experience:suicide2:
