mmm, 151w and 430nm of torque at just 1200 revs...

supercharging it would take it up to around 700 torques or more?

was in a 4wd monthly mag, some people had a landcruiser that they supercharged (not sure of the engine, but it was an older older model) and that put out around 700nm

haha bit low for my likeing haha. Diffs dont look very big for a monster truck

Ha ha, I've seen a couple of them getting around in Hawaii, I think they are just keeper wheels until the right ones get fitted. Or until the owner can afford them ha ha.

parts:biggrin:

hopefully get the front and rear upper/lower arms back next week.

OPW.
OPW - Offroad Performance Warehouse

Was going to get them through another bloke who was getting them from the states, but they were another $20 each plus having to have his stickers all over the nav. Figured using Petes was the safer bet as its all proven with the hydro coilovers in his car.

why did he want sticker's on your nav? because of 4wd monthly and stuff?
how much did pet charge ya?
does pete antanan own OPW?

dude that skyline motor in the nav was crazy but why would ya???
and that guys need a rear locker or the lsd rebuilt cause it wasn't doing a good job.

He was just starting a business up, wanted exposure, offered me 10% off to put stickers on it. rod ends were $96 each from pete. Yeah he owns OPW and tuff truck now aswell.

Finally got the upper and lower arms.

Front lowers will be triangulated and using the solid 2" chromoly, Uppers will be straight using the solid 2" alloy. Rear will be the opposite with the chromoly lowers being straight and upper alloys being triangulated.

Just gota get some Plate to make the mounts from work tomorrow and back to work on this

Started mocking up the lower mounts. The old torsion bar crossmember is about 2"s too far back otherwise i could just use those old mounts. Still might be able to do something with them..

Ill be able to bring the mounts an inch or so higher, but doesnt look like theres anychance of fully tucking them up under the rails because of the gearbox.
Ground off the last of the old mounts on the front diff, had to cut off the coilover mounts again because the pinion angle was wrong. Hoping to smash into it on sat and have it off the chassis stands.

going back to the beginning of the year , did you find out if the clonking was the transfer chain or not cos it sounds exactly like mine at the moment and I dont want to relace things on a wild goose chase

if your talkin bout the noise in some of the videos, then yeah transfer chain. Another one to the list. Throw your transfer away and get a D21 transfer
