off the top of my head from what ive read its a straight swap and same gearing. TX10 transfer case, pre 03/02 is what you want. After 02/03 they narrowed the transfer chain. According to pirate the older tx10 is good for 40" tyres.
 
bit stumped with what to do about the gearbox mount... front driveshaft will get in the way of using the factory mounts, so i was thinking of a roc ring type thing for the rear of the transfer case but the crossmember for the lower links is going to be in the way...

Didnt get as much done on the weekend as id hoped..

Started on the new crossmember, still needs to be replated, lower link mounts will be welded onto here.

Getting there Josh, your a fitter and turner aren't you.

See if you can write some of this off as a learning exercise.

yeah fitter and turner, became a tradesman today. I think this stuff would be more fabrication.
Ive claimed all the tools on tax haha.

Thanks guys. 3 1/2 years in the waiting. (got 6 months off for early completion)

slowly getting things done...nothings gusseted or final until its flexed up tho..

Started on the uppers by cutting out the body mount that was in the way...have to work out how to restrengthen it now

Hahaha. Please do post a shot of what you end up doing with that mount once your engineer's green lighted it. :top:

I'd be very interested to know what he wants
 
will do. Thinking i might lift the mount to suit the 2" lift, more room to brace it then.
