At this stage it looks like ill get away without having a pan hard and running mechanical steering on road.

No panhard - is that because you have enough control with the four-link alone? In that photo it looks like each pair is controlling movement in two planes, was this intended?

I like. I like a lot.

Yeah, i was worried with the 4 link the mechanical steering would push the diff instead of the tyres but with only 3 of 4 links on the diff moves about 2mm so with the 4th link on im hoping it wont move at all.

Offroad mechanical steering wont work as 1) the draglink wont have the angle and 2) on travel the steering will want to turn with the flex. So it will be hydro steering offroad.

I had hoped of getting the triangulation right to run without a pan hard on road and looks like i might have fluked it.

Wasnt enough weight on the rear to go the last 7"

Might need a bit of an inner guard chop...

Beeeeeeeep, thats some flex.

Stop posting and finish this thing, thing is awesome.

Dave.

Hahahahahahahaha... Awesome...

Remind me what the ultimate plan is for the rear? Same four link as the front with a patrol axle?

The other side..

Uppers need to come out 5mm more from the chassis and theres no touching

rear will be the same but triangulation reversed. ie uppers tapperd into the diff and lowers straight out to the chassis. with the patrol rear.

Pretty impressive Joshy! I'm with Dave on this one, hurry up and finish so we can witness the beast in action :top:

Thanks guys

picked up some more parts today....another front centre for hi pinion rear, manual locking hubs, Gas charged the coilovers so the front can sit at ride height and got the line for the clutch.

Some DOM tubing is coming tomorow then i can finish off the fabrication side of things to the front.
