Hi all just a quick intro. We have a 2002 d22 which we've owned for last 5 years. Bought it 2nd hand in 2003 with only 2,000kms on the clock, however we soon realised it was using oil..... 1 litre per 1,000kms!!!!!!

After contacting Nissan and doing a few oil consumption tests, they agreed to come to the party and fitted a new motor and turbo at 10,000kms - all under warranty - thank you Nissan!!

Have upgraded the stereo and fitted some Old Man Emu shocks - the standard shocks were pretty useless. It now has 104,000kms on the clock and we're very happy with it.

Welcome to the forum sman, good to hear Nissan came to the party for a change, typically people have to fight tooth and nail to get them to cover something under warranty, but using that much oil I guess they couldn't explain their way out of it.

I just realised your Navara has about the same km's as mine and mine is a 2006 model.
