Hi all, i did a quick search but could not find any info for my particular issue.
I have an '02 Navara Flat tray, and recently acquired some 275 70 R16 wheels, when i fitted them i discovered 2 main issues;

1. The rear wheels rubbed on the tie-down rails on the tray, fixed with some lift blocks (I haven't done a suspension lift yet, that is on the cards tho).

2. and the main problem at the moment, is that they seem to protrude a bit from he tray, not by much tho, but they do go well past the mud guards. Any suggestions on being able to 'cover' these protrusions to stop them throwing mud / road crap all over the place?? like some kind of flare for a tray back??

Thanx for your time.

main part of the guard is welded to the bottom of the tray, with the mud flap hanging under it.
Would i get away with putting some kind of rubber extension on the side of it??

Rubber would work fine or bunnings garden edging works a treat as it holds it's shape and won't go floppy like rubber
