Exhaust drone after fitting 3"

Anyone got this problem or know why I have.
Put a 3" xforce exhaust on my 2012 d40 and now it has an annoying drone/ resonant sound at around 1600-1800 rpm. Most noticeable from 10-80km hr.
It's that annoying I'm thinking of removing it.any ideas

Hey mate. I recently had done the same. First tried no cat with rear high flow muffler and was extremely quiet. Then no muffler like you have and same problem annoying drone. I have now got a high flow cat on my dump pipe and all straight pipe and is perfect. Nice whistle perfect note not loud and annoying at all. My conclusion was the cat filters the annoying note.
