Na its not to bad.

Ill grab a few pics tomorrow.

What ever it was I couldn't find it.

Heading to Singleton soon so Ill see if I come across it.

I once hit a dead kangaroo and whats more I didn't even see it, just felt the truck jump over it so I can relate to not seeing exactly what was hit. I've also slammed roos at 100ks and had them hop off back into the bush, it's fairly common, those big reds are built to survive. It's usually when the buggers don't hop back into the bush that the most damage is done, to both vehicle and roo.

Did you find it on the return trip? Nothing like fresh meat for dinner, just cut around the bruised bits :ha:

Still got me stuffed where the prick is.

I even drove slow last night trying to spot it.

Did you use to head out west a fair bit Krafty ?

I headed out west of somewhere, but probably not out west of where you thinking.

So no barbie at Dave's place this weekend unless it's BYO meat.

Don't care I'm not coming anyway since you haven't got any meat to put on the barbie.

The second pic is where the bullbar moved back.

No worries.

Cant open the bonnet at the moment, bullbar needs pulling foward but will do.

Decided to not go through insurance, my brother is gonna give me a hand to pull the bullbar off and send it away to get repaired and powdercoated.

So lucky I kept the factory bumper bar as that will be on for 2 weeks till the bullbar comes back.

Hey Davey boy those scenery pics you posted on the UK site almost look like my backyard, if it wasn't for the road signs having different names on them you could nearly say those roads and those paddocks are the same playground I've got close handy.

I used to work in Smithfield and we did a few trips out to places like Mudgee but that was all for a hire mob so most of the work was city bound. Had a mate with a boat and house in Port Stephens (actually the boat was last seen rotting and beached on the rocks just north of Port Stephens I'm not sure if he rescued it before getting a new one or not) we used to frequent a bit but that wasn't in the truck. Otherwise we only really did a few trips up through regional NSW to out way to places in QLD when there was either odd cartage jobs or the next door neighbour would get some hair brain idea about buying a dozer or skidder site unseen from some bloke.

Those pics I took were outside of Scone.

If you ever headed to QLD up the New England Highway you would of pretty much past that area where those pics were taken.

Yeah never stopped there but we've been through there, had friends stop there last week on their way home from QLD. Still looks like my backyard in many respects although two of our farms are steeper and tougher than those hills, even the mountain goats refuse to walk one of our hills.

Nah goats are extremely cheap to buy and raise but they make bugger all at the sales beef is a much better idea so no more goat country for us.

Nah our farming partner has one but it's just a lawn mower. To be honest I can't stand the smell of horses. We've got a few llama and some mountain cattle if you want to come for a ride though.
