Hey guys I just wanted to know if anyone has bought the ironman suspension performance or constant load from eBay or other stores.. I would love to hear some feedback on this suspension. I am thinking of saving up some extra cash in the next few months for new suspension and for the price 1100bux delivered seems like bang for buck... If anyone can suggest other brands they have used and are happy with I'm open to suggestions cheers guys

4 years(being generous) and mine is ready for scrap.Had a hard time though.Shocks are farked.
Would have liked a lot longer.
Rear leafs on mine had a squeak from new,was like a flock of birds following me along the tracks.Still pisses me off. Some sand in them over xmas has made them worse.
Sagged anyway.
My opinion,sorry iron man.
Save up and spend more and get better.
(I used perfomance kit)

Thanks navarian, what do you think about tough dog? There going for about $1500 - $1600 to purchase maybe that few hundered more would make the difference? You got 4 years? That's not bad for suspension especially if u do a lot of offload hey?

I don't know about tough dog or if it is any good, with iron man you pay for what you get.
For example i have a iron man front bar and the welds are showing rust after one year on the vehicle.
which is why i would spend more if you plan on keeping the vehicle for a while.
Now i have to spend twice, more research should have been done first.
My bad.
The squeaky rear springs really piss me off.

Just get in there with a can of WD40 and go skitz might help... Did it on my bro inlaws forbie and it helped. thanks for your feedback man I appreciate it! Btw that's what I'm trying to do find out what bang for buck even if it means spending a little more but I don't want to go over 1600 bux

WD40,silicone spray, lithium, none of it can shut them up.
Looking at your signature,a sweet ute, don't insult it.
Save a bit more for the suspension. In the long run you will spend less.

Hey 4BYFOR,

I fitted Ironman to my first new ST-X D40, they were ok, can't fault them. And they did a ton of work! Simpson Desert, Vic High Country, Mungo NP, Abercrombie NP. But and there is a but! When I fitted Tough Dog 9 stage 2" kit to my D40 (and now moved over to my 550). It's like chalk & cheese to me honest. Tough Dogs are just miles ahead, the ute sits solid, feels unreal to drive and preforms big time off road.

Hey mate if you spend $1675 you can have a really good kit supplied and installed by Zordo suspension at Kedron. He will work out a kit that will suit your needs and he isn't affiliated with any particular brand. Plenty of happy customers on this site will agree.

Yeh I might just do that.. Seeing as ill be up that way next week I might go and get some info and a quote see what will work for me.. I don't do much off road at the moment as my car isn't ready yet for it but I did performance first then offroad setup jut that it costs so much money to do it up nicely... By the end of it when it's completed I'll spend around the 15k mark for sure

I like the Bilstein kit,a few guys i wheel with run Bilsteins and are wrapped with them.
Thats what i'll be fitting next time.

I have the same package and love the ride although I am not sure of the spring rate and not at home to check. Do carry a fair bit of weight though by way of accessories.

Probably would prefer a little more height in the front though.

I have these shocks and strutts through Zordo the front has dobinson H/D coils. Zordo had bilstein put an extra notch in the struts about 10mm higher than original which has resulted in 65mm lift, i'm lovin it!
