Not sure if this will help, when I opened up my D40 dash, there were no globes for changing when it came to the backlights, they were little LED / SMD chips soldered to the board.
I'd recommend popping it open and checking inside.
A lot of clusters these days wouldn't use the old school filament globes anymore
