2012 ST Dash Removal

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has first hand experience removing the 2012 ST (Spanish built) dash to replace the Stereo. I can get the cup holder out and the gear leaver surround no problems. For the life of me I can't get the rest out. I've removed the few screws that I can see but still nothing, I've pulled and prodded as much as I think I can without breaking anything.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Couldn't seem to find one that shows the new dash. They all refer to starting with the tray at the top but the 2012 dash is different.

Hey mate,

The centre part of the dash just pulls off. It's only held in with clips.

Thanks Jason R. Iv'e been interstate all week working and finally got a chance to have a go today. It does just pull off but I was surprised at the amount of force required to get it off.

I was very surprised that only a flat head screwdriver is needed to get almost everything out to run amp cables, get to headunit ect. It's literally a 3 minute job to get the headunit out

Yeah after doing it a couple of times now it's pretty simple. Just need to get used to using a bit of force.(but not too much)
