07' YD25 Knocking.

Hello, I'm Andrei, I'm new here, basically joined to seek for help.

I have a 2007 Navara 2007 with the YD25 Engine that has this knocking sound and we re having a hard time diagnosing it, it intensity is rather slow, which makes us think its time chain related, also heard that the timing chain is their weak spot. I have attached a youtube video in which I think I did a good job capturing the noise. Also , when it gets hot the sound goes away almost completely.

chain noise won't go away when it's hot.. it will just stay regardless of temp

Changed the whole kit, the knock is gone!!! Sounds like a healthy engine now. Aftermarket parts though, I hope it lasts at least 50 000 km haha
