I read there is about 6 months worth of work in programing to set up the computer to do such a show. Plus I recon 3-4 weekends to set up the lights. One day when the $$ flow a bit better. If it would stop showering each arvo I might be able to get back up on the roof!!

There was a bloke from the US last year offering his software which was windows based so needed nothing special as far as the pc went for $200. It's had preset sequences based on several standard layouts but you could also input your own layouts and sequences. Don't know if he's still doing it but it's a cheap and viable alternative which leaves money for the huge pa system and the music.
