X- Ray 220mm. Anyone using these ?

It's been a while since I was up there though so maybe we weren't killing as many people back then. We have crosses but we don;t have the black and red sticks. I believe while it's only stopped if it gets too big its actually illegal to do anything like that in Victoria anyway.

Perhaps we need fatigue detection camera's.

Can get fatigue glasses, they aren't the be all and end all of saving people but they work, kinda weird to wear but they do exactly what they are suppose to the problem is not everyone falls asleep the same way.

They were only a test thing I don't think you can buy them yet. They worked on the idea that when falling asleep your head would tilt and your focus would change and when they noticed this happening there was an audible alarm. They worked but only worked if that's how you fell asleep behind the wheel, we got an up close look and play with them at a trucking industry shindig a few years back.

Of course they are no good for council workers who can not just sleep standing up they can sleep with their eyes open and no body movement. But they mostly only drive upright shovels so it's not for them.

Nearly as good as having a passenger next to you who punches you every time you begin to look like nodding off. It's a more aggressive form of safety device but it works, atleast until the passenger falls asleep.

if you get the britax hid conversion kit and fit it to a standard halogen xray spot( which was what i did and save $$), its the same as a original hid xray spot and will give you the same light, they are the same construction and they use pretty much the same ballast and hid globes..

my work sells them if you are located in perth, ( Deering Autronics )

converted around half the price

Lights arrived today, waiting on the harness though.

That was my fault, as I ordered it 2 days after.

Took about 5 days to get here.
