Mate good luck with your nav. Worth checking the egr very easy to do.
Mine wasn't hard to start and didn't cut out at first just blew heaps of smoke and no power until around 2.5k rpm then smoke would stop and power returned. Then it just refused to start at all

Hey all I had to join this forum just so I could say thanks to Broaden. My car was doing the same thing word for word was just about to get a tilt tray to pick it up and take it to Nissan when I came across this thread so I went home made a plate to block the egr and it started striaght away and after driving it about 50m it stopped blowing smoke and has been running sweet since. Can't belive it was a free fix and didn't cost anything so thanks again.

Glad to be of help ryanstx. I have found that since I put the plate in I have more power than when it was new and fuel economy is about the same of when it was new.
