Which Bullbar for D40

I am wanted to get a bullbar for my car.. I want the arb one but too expensive.

so i was thinking other brands but i want a good looking one..

Want to spend around 1500 fitted.

i have been looking at Ironman, OL, TJM however i want to see one on a NAVARA.. can someone shed light on quality and price and maybe post photos of theirs on the thread and show me.

I think WoodyD40 has an Ironman on his Thai D40 and he's been happy with his bar since he brought it, check out his garage for pics. Otherwise I don't remember who has what in their garage but you might find something there.

hey mate i have a tjm t13 winch bar i think it is , i think i paid around 1500 fitted , check out my garage or my build page should be pics of it ... i asked arb first but they had like a 6 months wait plus the price was pretty exy too... hope this helps you out

the gaps you see on the side of the bar are because i did a 1inch body lift , if u have stock they will be pretty much flush to the bullbar

isnt to bad...hit a tree about 20kms/hr and moved 1cm...had to readjust to get it aligned again

Does anyone know if the TJM T3 bar is going to be available for the D40? from what i can see it looks the same as the T13 but doesnt have the loops. ARB quoted 1950 plus fitting plus paint for the Sahara when i had my Hilux. I like the look of the T3 but can only find pics of the 100, 200 series cruisers...

I was just at arb and they quoted 2338 color matched and fitted for the sahara and a couple hundred dollars less withoup the loop

Big price difference between the TJM and ARB bars... about 1k in fact for the same equivalent. Did they also mention that the lights and indicators are extra on top at ARB? Are they really that much better that they are worth the extra coin?

Recently purchased a Sahara Bar, Was $1600 for bar with the top alloy bar and indicators included. ( No fog lights ) Also they wanted $220 for colour match.. I didnt bother as the ARB Millenium grey is very close to the Nissan Storm grey.
Will be installing it myself to save the $270 i was quoted for install. Will post a couple of photos once i have it on.

Thats a lot cheaper than i was quoted. Where abouts was that? i was in ARB Cairns when i got the quote, but i have heard they dont mind charging a heap more, just for the hell of it. Seems far more reasonable!

Got a quote from ARB Nundah and ARB Maroochydore matched it. Tried to haggle a price at the recent 4x4 show in Brisbane but had better luck via email.

My thoughts exactly, exes old man ended up buying one from ARB and got one of the mechanics there to install it at home for cash...
I think the Sahara looks damn sweet on the Hilux, makes it look much more aggressive. Not so much on the D40, i realise they try to follow the lines of the vehicle, but i cant hlp but think they got it a bit wrong. Still one of the best looking bars out there though...

I got a Oppisite lock. Picked it up at a bargain from a 4x4 show. $1100, but i installed it myself, was real easy.

hey mate i have a tim bar that i just took off mine. i want 1200 for it negotiable.
its alloy in stainless steel with 2x huge "hella" spotlights on it and is winch compliant.

if you want me to message you a picture of it sms me or call and ill send one through. cheers mate. i think it looks pretty good for a bulbar, best of the ones I've seen on the d40's, just want the plastic bar instead
