It wouldn't matter if you connected it the wrong way around. It's a wire coil in a glass tube that doesn't care about polarity, it just heats up and glows brightly.
If it were a HID unit the ballast might have a problem.
I believe the purple pickle might have been in response to me suggesting the positive lead goes to "the juice" but apparently suggesting you connect that white wire to the "juice" is off topic and hijacking the thread, despite the fact that just about everyone I know would understand "the juice" refers to the feed from the battery so my humblest apologies to you as the OP please don't go to the fridge and get a bottle of orange juice and dip the wire into the bottle and expect your driving lights too work.
