Hi guys,

What's everyone's thoughts, I'm just want to know what tyres I should look at I'm not sure if I should go mt or at tyres that I'm in are
kumho kl71 mt
Maxxis MT-764
Maxxis AT-980
Bridgestone duelers D697LT
I do mostly black top but some off-road what's everyone think I only have stock ride at the moment but will be geting a lift.
If I get a MT I will get 245/75R16 or AT will be a 265/70R16 all on the stock alloys.

265-70-16 is the stock size
245/75-16 is ~4mm rolling diameter smaller.

If your getting lift, why don't you get the 265/75-16's?
a lift with stock or smaller tires may not suit the look of the car. Id say move up a profile or keep it the stock size.

I won't be getting lift till next year as I have a wedding to pay for, if I get an mt in a 265/75 will it scrub at the front.
Will get an AT in the 75 if the mt scrubs

I got the Bridgestone AT 697's, tho wish I had of put more money in it and got Mickey Thompson's 4 rib or Coopers ST maxx, got bogged and wouldn of if I had a more aggressive tread pattern, in saying that the 697's are a good tyre for Tarmac and dirt/sand tracks just not in much mud, I would also go 265/75 but mines got the clearance for them, how much they would scrub on stock lift I'm not sure.

buy a tyre which best suits your driving style.

if its more road but go off road maybe once every month a at will do the job quite well

if your going offroad 3 times a month then a mt would probably be better suited.

I would go an at, probably the maxxis.

Also as much as 245/75 is smaller, it is only going to make your vehicle 2mm lower. If it comes down to 2mm honestly who cares.

I have 245/75 and no problems, plus will use less fuel than 265/75.

What lift have you got I'm gonna go ironman efs or tough dog just a 2". But the tyres I might just go for an MT in 245/75

Efs 2" lift with TJM gold series shocks, found it a bit stiff initially but its softening up slowly.

The 03 model D22 (which is what I have) came with standard 255 70 16's but most run with a 265 70 16 as there a more common tyre, which I think is a good thing if your of somewhere remote and stake a tyre or two then not to hard to find a cheap second hand replacement.

I'm pretty sure tho the larger tyre 265 75 16 with a 2" lift in MT will fit, maybe someone can verify but that would be my choice if doing a bit of of road stuff and had wished I had gone that path, although not to disappointed with what I have and do the job well just not in the slippery mud stuff.
