If I ever have them, I'm going to lock my children in a room and make them listen to the music of "my era"!

Which era was that?. From what I hear on cars beside us at the traffic lights, there hasn't been any good new music since the 60/70's. I keep hearing the same stuff.

Triple J has Gaids these days...maybe I'm just old.

It went crap decades ago when they suddenly replaced everyone and went commercial mainstream. I he early days you could listen to everything; crap, gold, brilliant, snore, great, WOw, etc, etc and 99% Australian. Really good for finding new Australian artists.

yeah...Beaker is my fav muppet.

I got a t-shirt for chrissie from the missus that has "uncontrollable" written across the top and Animal's face on it. I always like Animal, could never play the drums that good though.

Whenever we go any distance in the car my missus always has to have "Rainbow Connection" on one of the cd's, she's got a copy by Weezer which isn't quite death metal muppets but it's not a bad twist on the song.

There was a building site I was on before christmas where every radio was on JJJ and I fair dinkum would have preferred to be stabbed in the eye with a besser brick than have to listen to that hippie, techno fussion, quirky, homo loving, do good by the indigenous, doubt everything, form your own opinion as long as it conforms to the above poofters and lesso's that program and shove crap music down your throat that they spew out.

My 2c

thats your best 2c by far...

+1000

aint that the gods honest truth......

but you forgot the 40's, 50's & 80's

Did you like Scream? I know he's getting old but I didn't reckon it was as good as Black Rain or the likes of No Rest. I read the other day too that JP are retiring, another big name getting out.

I've not listened to it much at all yet as my misses gave it to me recently..

Bark at the moon, however I enjoy.

as for JP that sad, but at least I saw their show here recently
