Picked up my new tyres today, have gone with the cooper st maxx again. Paid $340 a corner for 265/75/16. Wasn't going to pay $380 for mickey Thompsons. Have done a bit over 60,000 on my old set of coopers, they still have got maybe 5000 kms left in them. Got the new ones put on my spare rims and they can sit in the shed a couple of months

No unfortUnately they dont have them in yet and didnt expect them for a while yet. Couldnt wait as mine sound like a angry gnome with a rattle can fetish. I picked up a set on trademe (nz ebay like site) for a really good price. The seller had got the euro four ones and fitted them before realising he needed euro three ones. Not sure how they are different but mine is a euro 4
Just need to get the seals and gaskets etc now and fit them up. Still got to figure out how to do the registration to the ecu but thats another days problem! Consult 3 are available on ebay for a price or my mechanic might have the gear to do it. Last resort go to nissan... Nah wont do that!

Did this the other week...
2 x small solar panels.both together put out a whopping 2 amp.got a ebay MPPT solar controller all wired in.mounted the aux 105 amp hr deep cycle (hand me down) and the thumper air compressor and converted it to wireless on /off but kept the master switch.piped the outlet to the back of the toolbox.added a 12v socket...some breakers and a couple of kilometers more cable....added a volt meter and some led strip lighting under the rim of the toolbox..volt meter and leds are switched by the little switch on the edge.so when i open the lid...light goes on and so does the backlit voltmeter. Panels are small but they are just there to trickle charge the aux battery.ive got some computers and stuff running in the cab that have a small draw here and there. uploadfromtaptalk1416641383834.jpguploadfromtaptalk1416641383834.jpguploadfromtaptalk1416641383834.jpguploadfromtaptalk1416641383834.jpguploadfromtaptalk1416641383834.jpg

I got an over the phone trade in valuation for mine this arvo. Prob won't do anything, but I was feeling a little down about the amount of work it needs doing to it at the moment!!!!!
I did find a coil cab 4.2 that I like............
