Tub sizes

Gday, is there a reason why the tub size in a 2011 model is about two inches longer than the 2009 Model I went two put my tub liner in a mates d22 as I built a false floor in mine and it doesn't fit his

Nissan made them longer from about that year onwards, I suppose its a selling point as in larger capacity tub

The original guy who made the tubs retired in 2009 and they couldn't work out the sizes after he left so they had to start from scratch.

The longer tub looks a bit weird but the shorter tub can be a pita some times

Hears a question, does the mounts for the old tub line up with the mounts for the new tub? If so, is it possible to put the longer tub on a older model d22???!!

the 2009 tub is the same size as 2011, 2008 and older are shorter, i put a 2012 tub on my 2009 model and its the exact same size etc

The tub size changed when they moved the manufacturing from Japan to Thailand.

Question, will the newer tubs (2009-2011) fit the Jap spec build?

I want to get a new canopy for the 2006 D22, but no on sels nice ones anymore... So figured i might trade in my tub for a newer one and get the canopy to suite.
