Tray to Tub swap

Hey All,
Looking to swap my tray to a tub
2012 Japanese born D22 2.5ltr
Will any d22 tub fit or does it have to be specific Japanese model.
I’ve been told different countries have different chassis width/length?

are you sure its japan made?
they stopped japan d22 production in 2007.

odds are the tubs are all the same. tho you never quite know with the change in factory.

I was just off VIN#
I’ve been told VIN has letters of country of origin in it. It JP in VIN, have I been led down the wrong garden path ?

There was a cyclone or a flood or something in Thailand in 2011/2012 that shut down the Nissan plant that made D22's, so Nissan made them in Japan for a short time. So yours is very likely Japan built.

Mine is late 2012 built, but built in Thailand, so it can be confusing.

It's the tub length that varies, not the chassis rails. They will all fit. The tailgate is different after 2009, but that's purely cosmetic.
