hi guys, i'm after some advise on a set of toyota hilux split rims with brand new tyres, i've got a 2005 D22 and wonder if they will fit, i've tried one on and the stud pattern is the same but i noticed the centre hole (hub) is slightly larger than the steel rims that are on the D22 at the moment, should this be an issue? tyre sizes on the toyota alloys are LT245/75/R16 thanx Fly

Many others will tell you otherwise but I don't think it is an issue. I've been running wheels with an oversized spigot relief for about 40,000km with no issue and wouldn't hesitate in continuing to do so.

It's primarily friction between the hub face and the wheel face, the huge normal force for which is generated by the mounting studs/bolts, that holds the wheels on anyway.

Thanks for that Dion, i thought myself it should be ok, i've got a link to a few picturse of them and my existing steels, you think i should chage the studs, the heads just seemed a little tight struggled at first to get the wheel brace on.
