Hey guys,
the standard front torsion bars have sagged quite significantly on my 03 d22 after 315,000 and recently installing a steel winch bar. I have wound them up on 2 occasions but they have sagged back down to standard height and one side of the ute is noticeably leaning/sagging more than the other.

I was looking at all the different type of torsion bars and a was wondering what difference there is. I understand bigger diameter bars and different metal compositions but none of that is listed. Just length.

I was tossing up between tough dog or rock crawler but as far as i can see i'm paying an extra $200 for rockcrawler bars for nothing but a longer warranty.

Can someone please help me out! need to get my 4x4 sitting right asap!

the diameter of the torsion bar determines spring rate..the type of steel used and its post heat treatment determines max stress levels and fatigue characteristics
