Hey fellas, just wanted to know hot low your torsion bar brackets are hanging? Mine still poke out a little past the chassis but would really like to get them tucked up out of harms way. Possibly have about 15mm in the top bumpstop so I guess there's still a little adjustment left. Just interested in how your setups are. Thanks

I ran out of adjustment when winding up after raising 40mm.
Re indexed 3 splines and got to 60mm with about 10-12mm from bumpstops.
The very edge of one side of the adjusting bolt sticks out maybe 2mm if you look really close, so basically all tucked up good.
Both sides the same.

Both mine tuck up inside the cross brace, as Charlie said, it's called re-indexing.

Thanks guys, so basically I have to "re-index" the torsion bars to get tem tucked up, I won't be able to make up the distance the hang down by winding them up? Thanks

ive just fitted lift and had to reindex splines a few times to get it right
its not hard, just a pain in the arse

Yup, re-index them. After doing one side you will get the hang of it and do the second quick as

How far do they stick out? You probably wont know if you have to reindex to tuck em up untill you have 10mm left at bumpstops.

Once youve wound up as far as you want to go,if they still stick out you will have to reindex. By the sound of it you will only want to move a spline or two.

If you decide to reindex read the threads on how to do it on this forum.
Spend time studying each end of the bar so you see how they sit for re fit.
Pay attention to how the rear end of bar has a groove that sits into crossmember.Do one side at a time and you will always have the other side to referance to. Mark the bar and adjuster bracket with a paint pen so you can see how far you are indexing. I marked both ends when doing mine and it helped a lot.
