Hi guys, Just signed up to the forum as a new user. Looking at purchasing a new navara but what you guys to shade some light over this way. Anyway, Thanks so much guys and hope to see you all out in the mud.

Welcome, as for info on navara's I love mine. Do your research and remember that ALL makes have their problems.

I found mine on carsales, I was told to look at the car auctions ie Mannheim etc.. But their vehicle reports put me off.

Go the NAV!!! Yeah I'd say too that all makes have their problems but really the numbers do the talking. For the price of the d22 they make a great great ute, built better than d40 but then not as big n ballsy. I've had a 3.0L str and now got d40. For the price of a Toyota I'd much rather deck a Nissan out and get change for beers. And u end up with a better bus haha.

Yeah thats right... Pricing for a d22 is cheap brand new but im looking at a used one with low km and then build that up... going actions tomorrow with my mate and hopefully i find something

I do a bit of car hunting for people around home and just went through the process with a mate for a d22. This was 3-4months ago but then I could get him on road for around 26k. I got good contacts around cars but one thing you can't pick is when the brands "Nissan Mitsubishi etc" go and all of a sudden slash prices again. Last year before I got the d40 I almost got a drive away deal on a triton dual cab for 33. (When they were over 35 +on road)They were only gonna make 200 buck out of the deal. A month later Mitsubishi knocked off their retail price 2 grand and fast forward to now you can get the same for 31 before even haggling them. And I assure you that they r always gonna make money so if a d22 is going for a drive away deal they've still got 2-3grand to play with. Good luck :)
