Just wondering on the differences pro,s and con,s between these D40 motors.Thai and Spain build,s.Which are prefered and why any inherent faults.
Please reassure me as ive just ordered a Thai oneSecond hand) to fit into a spain build 07.

Mate i think you will find its only the very late spain models, 2010 onwards that run a different heads. So im sure you will be fine. If there are any minor external parts you will be able to change with your existing parts.

Thanx for that either way she,s a going in.
What oil you running in yours and how often change etc.

Motor done 180k.A very HARD 180 K
Ran Nulon 5 w 30. Changed no latta than 10k.Still reccommend oil.
Anyone got over 250k on theres or still to early a model
