Taller centre console

Hi all,just wondering if anyone has fitted,modified or replaced centre console with taller unit,it's probably the worst part of my d22 not being able to rest my arm on console when driving because there to short...

Tell me about it lol. I have seen some people modify the console to fit one of those waeco coolers there instead, but some of them have been pretty badly done lol. Depends how you want to do it, but you could bash something up out of mdf and some marine carpet or vinyl or similar. From memory someone on here made a kind of flat platform with either mdf or ply to put one of those coolers. It actually looked pretty good and gives you the advantage of having cool drinks on long drives. I can't remember who it was, but I do remember seeing pictures on here. ...

The handbrake lever may be a pain if you modify the console.

I'm going to check out console from r50 pathfinder and see how close they are,from memory they are a bit higher..
