Back on topic, I also noticed the 1/4 temp when running. I just kept an eye on it.
Running up steep hills or sand driving it would creep up to 3/4.
New water pump, cleaned radiator inside and out, 30% extra flow thermostat and because I run AU falcon dual electric fans, set them up to run in parallel on a thermostat switch
So far so good. "Just right temps"
