Hi All,
I've got original nissan rims on my 2003 D22 and 1 spare.
Someone has told me that to buy a secondhand original rim would probably cost me about $500
does that sound about right ? sounds a bit rich to me.

Wreckers might not want to break up a set, but look on gumtree or ebay. You might get a individual mag for between $50 to $100. And even a spare set for $200

i just had a look on gumtree and theres some on there (qld ) and theres complete sets for 2-300 and a single rim for 60. just a bit of a guide for you

If it you don't need it to match just get a steel one from a tyre shop. Nissan quoted me almost $1200 for a d40 rim Ha ha.

Yeh, I have a second spare and went with the steel rim.
Actually made it a part of the dealer purchase to provide full second spare complete with matching tread tyre.

Used to be a Jap wreckers out Kenwick way in WA so might try them but I'm buggered if I'll pay top dollar for a bloody rim.
Been thinking just a steel rim will do, after all it's just for a second spare.
From what I can see online, wreckers in the Eastern States are pretty good with prices. Might get from them.
to be honest, everything is cheaper in the East even when ya add freight charges.
Cheers

maybe check out the d22 page on facebook. from what ive seen on the d40 pae theres plenty of original d40 rims for sale so id imagine that the d22's would be the same

Hey oldie just after 1? I got some spare. I was after an extra spare but found full set with new rubber and got them instead. Chucked them on my truck so got my set laying around. Not sure of postage to wa as in nth sa may cost a bit.
