can anyone help me, i have lost power from my ignition to the glow plugs and i have checked all the obvious fuses is there any thing that i may have blown? i was going to check the electrics at the tow bar and something shorted out. from then on the vehicle doesnt start, i got a tester and found no electric either side of the fuses and nothing at the glow plugs now scratching head!!!thanks:tazzy:

check if you getting power to the relay and if your getting power to the coil side of the relay.

their is the possibility that the ecu is not turning on the glows for some reason.
the engine should still start without glows, unless your in an aera where is really cold.

you my have blown the big 80A fuse in the fuse box under the hood? though i imagine that there's be a few more issues than just not starting if that were the case. try the ignition relay/fuses under the hood. the tow plug installer might have come straight off the load side of the ignition relay/fuse

One of my glow plugs was shorting out inside the engine nd blowing the fuse (i think 80Amp). I replaced all glow plugs and problem was solved. As said before the engine would start but on a cold morning it would almost flatten the battery cranking before it fired.
